The Last Chapter
In the story the lesson learned is mainly to never go beyond your limits. As you can see, the pearl Kino found destroyed his family. I bet Kino well never for give himself after how he kept the pearl . The memory of Kino's son dyeing is probably going to haunt him forever. Probably the story is tragedy. When the world was in conflict it was when the whites took over the U.S. His rose to power was when he found the pearl. His human weakness was when he wouldn't give up the pearl. Soon after that the tragic fall came and people were trying to kill Kino to get the pearl. Finally the death symbolism is when the baby gets shot and dies.

You did a nice job pullling out the specific events that fit the tragic mode of literature. What you missed was supporting why you felt those events fit the plotline. For example, why was finding the pearl the "rise to power?" This relfection could very easily be turned into an essay response in the form of a literary analysis. Good job!
