Extraordinary Epilogue

Author’s note: In Dead man’s path by Chinua Achebe, Michael Obi took down a path that went through his school campus and that’s when terror struck. The school was destroyed and when a man came to inspect it, he rated poorly. I think that Michael should get another chance and this is the epilogue.

One month later after the school was destroyed

            Michael Obi decided to reopen the path a month later because he felt like he should redeem the school. After that night he came back and everything was fixed. “What is all this?” Michael asked himself.

            He found a note on his desk and it said thank you. After that the school became normal with a nice community. A year after that his school was rated the number one school in the country. Michael was so happy that he eventually put a flower bed running along the Dead Man’s path. He eventually made a family and had a nice life after that.
