When I was nine I really wanted a dog. I remember how excited I was when my dad said we were getting one. I can still remember touching my first dog. My dog was so fluffy and small. I still remember this memory because it was the happiest memory all of my life.
Mainly one of the reasons I can still remember this memory is because my dog is still alive. I find it so strange because she was so small back then and now she is big! This experience changed me from liking dogs. I used to hate dogs. I hated everything about them including their wet tongs. Now since I got my dog that changed my mind. I actually started to like dogs. They are always so nice. What was even the best about my dog is that when I was sad, my dog would lick me until I would pet her and have a smile on my face. That is what changed my experiences.
It is clear that my dog did a lot to me. I think the lesson that I learned from my experience is to never judge an animal badly. During the time when I had my dog I learned that dogs aren’t really that bad. Maybe at times I wouldn’t like my dog, but overall I like dogs now. I think I learned a valuable lesson.
