The Patriots Pen

                Today a lot of people are patriotic. The army and my family are patriotic. We still believe that patriotism still matters. If we didn’t, how would our country be free? Every day we put up our flag. The army and my family are very patriotic and very respectful to our country.

                The army protects our country every day. The army made our country free. They helped Iraq with the war. They are very patriotic. I’m very grateful that our army is patriotic. They respect our country in a lot of ways. They help protect our country. They risk their lives to protect ours. I think that’s very patriotic. If we never had an army, we wouldn’t be a free country. In the future, I hope the army stills stays patriotic.

                While the army protects our country, my family is very patriotic and very respectful to our country. When my brother grows up, he wants to be a marine with one of his friends. When my dad goes into the night, he puts up the American Flag every night with lights under it. My dad says it is very important to respect our country. My dad also says if our American Flag fell onto the ground, he would have to burn the flag. My dad came from a very patriotic family, and my mom’s great grandpa was in world war two. I think, my mom’s side of the family respects our country very much. I hope someday I can just be like my dad and my mom.

                Sometimes I think to myself, why everyone isn’t patriotic. Maybe some people just don’t believe in patriotism. Maybe some people just want to be ruled by somebody. Sometimes people don’t realize how much of the army risks their lives to save theirs. I hope our country stays patriotic.
